Humanitas

Afdrukken

Humanitas recognizes that everyone in our society who experiences difficulty has the right for assistance. Humanitas volunteers deliver assistance to anyone who can benefit from it, regardless of age, cultural background or family situation.

Humanitas exists in society for everyone wherein people take responsibility for themselves and for others. According to our philosophy every human being is in charge of his or her own life and carries responsibility for his or her life and that of his fellow human being. We promote the idea that clients and volunteers are allies. Humanitas translates this humanistic premise into human-to-human services in the areas of welfare, housing and care.

Humanitas offers help in the following areas
Youth and Family
Care-givers
Multiculturalism
Senior Citizens and Chronic Illness
Mourning and Loss
Other Social and Community Support
